Social Responsibility

Social Responsibility

Lapinha is committed to the development of a fairer society and a cleaner and healthier environment.

Preservation of the Environment:

Based on respect for nature, Lapinha preserves the native forests and springs, actively participates in the recovery of the Araucaria forest and other endangered species, in addition to treating all of its water.

At Lapinha the heating of environments, floors, pools and showers is done through a boiler, which has a Carbon Zero certification. This mechanism is fueled with wood taken and replanted in a reserved area at the own farm. The Spa is also putting into practice the Relighting Project at Lapinha through led lamps that do not harm the environment.

The Line of Organics at Lapinha is another example of social responsibility. Organic foods are produced at the very site, devoid of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on their crops, without damaging the environment. All organic products at Lapinha carry the Ecovida seal from Rede de Agroecologia Ecovida (Ecovida Agroecology Network), the result of a participatory certification, which intends to discuss, raise awareness and involve the family farming to promote sustainable development.

Agroecology Community Project

Lapinha promotes family farming in the production of organic raw material, through the Projeto Margarida (Margarida Project), who now has the participation of dozens of families in the region. This process follows a set of ecological production standards and conduct related to ethics and solidarity that must be present in the relationship between people and nature in the process of production and marketing of products. The work also involves the enhancement of customs, habits, and the rescue and protection of biodiversity.

Lapinha Institute:

The Institute Lapinha collaborates with the whole development of the human being, society, and the preservation of the environment through the activities in the health, education, culture and environment areas, with quality actions and projects in partnership with corporations, foundations, NGOs and governments.
